Central Food Bank Collecting Donations for Christmas Dinners

The City of Central Food Bank is feeding our community members in need again for Christmas, and your help is needed!  Christmas dinner donations will be accepted until Wednesday, December 20.  Items can be dropped off at the City of Central Food Bank (12023 Sullivan Road) Thursday, December 14 during normal hours 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. or 5:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m., or at Lewis’ Wrecker Service (9555 Joor Road), December 11 – 20, 8:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m.  City of Central Food Bank collection barrels are also in the usual locations.
Hams, which can be purchased and donated at the checkout at Winn Dixie Central, are needed for Christmas dinners.  Other items needed include brown sugar, yams, marshmallows, French’s fried onions, cream of mushroom soup, dinner rolls, and cake mix & frosting OR pie shell & pie filling.
