2) Discussion and action regarding the following case(s):
a) CUP-1-17 Conditional Use Permit to allow for the operation of a car wash and automotive repair facility – Central Thruway: An ordinance granting a Conditional Use Permit to allow for the operation of a car wash and automotive repair facility on property zoned B-4. Applicant: Corporate Green (By Council Member Vance) Commission Action (August 24, 2017): A motion to approve CUP-1-17 was made by Mr. Ryan Sheridan, seconded by Mr. Neal Chollette. Vote: 3 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Walker, and Sheridan), 4 nays (Messrs: Matlock, Moak, Sharafkhani, and Johnson) and 0 absent. Motion failed for a lack of majority.
b) RV-2-17 – revocation of a 60ft. wide Right-of-Way for Burks Avenue and Camp Drive; SS-20-17 – Subdivision of Tract T-1 formerly of the Greenwell Springs Campsites and the Eliza Carl White Tract into Tracts T-1-A, T-1-B, T-1-C, T-1-D and T-1-E. An ordinance revoking Burks Avenue and Camp Drive and granting a waiver to permit a private wastewater treatment plant. Applicant: Charles Tubre (By Council Member Messina) Commission Action (August 24, 2017): RV-2-17 – A motion to approve RV-2- 17 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Aaron Moak. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Moak, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson and Walker), 0 nays, and 0 absent. Commission Action (August 24, 2017): SS-20-17 – A motion to approve SS-20- 17 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Neal Chollette with the stipulations that no further subdivisions would be approved without city sewer service and upon approval by City Council of the requested street revocations for Burks Avenue and Camp Drive. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Moak, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson, and Walker), 0 nays, 0 absent.
c) RV-3-17 Brookside Drive and Wax Road: An ordinance revoking a sanitary sewer servitude on property located at Brookside Drive and Wax Road. Applicant: George McCallum (By Council Member Messina) Commission Action (August 24, 2017): A motion to approve RV-3-17 pending receipt of a Letter of No Objection from EBR Subdivision Engineering was made by Mr. Aaron Moak, seconded by Mr. Neal Chollette. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Chollette, Matlock, Moak, Sharafkhani, Sheridan, Johnson, and Walker), 0 nays, and 0 absent.
