Central High Color Guard Competes in Florida
Submitted by Renee Anselmo
The CHS Color Guard team traveled to Florida and competed in the Panama City Beach Music Festival on April 28th 2017. The Guard took two teams to competition. Team A received a Superior ranking and the Best in Class award. Team B also received a Superior ranking. This competition concluded the 2016/2017 guard year. The team would like to thank the community for all the support they received this year, and invite Central out to the football stadium this fall to catch the CHS Wildcat Band’s halftime performance. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Senior Diamanisha Betts as she will be twirling a flag this fall for Northwestern State University. Special Thanks to Sponsor Amanda Navarre, Choreographer Madalynn Couvillon, and Band Director James Henderson.
