Boys’ Bowling Has Solid Two Weeks

    The Wildcats went 4-0 over the last couple weeks after recording wins over Lee High (5-4), Denham Springs (6-3), Woodlawn (4-5) and Zachary (1-8).  On Wednesday (2-8-17) at All Star Lanes the Wildcats defeated Lee High by a final score of 23-4 and 2971-2024. The Wildcats were led by Senior Parker Aucoin's 550 (201), followed by Senior Bryce Delaune's 532 (213) and Sophomore Michael Williston's 517.  Junior Dell Dickerson had a 2-game series of 366 (212).
    The Wildcats opened district play on Monday (2-13-17) taking on Denham Springs at All Star Lanes.  Central continued their winning ways over the Yellow Jackets in one of their best outings of the season with a 22-5 and 3320-2872 victory.  Leading the way once again was Aucoin with a 621 (257), followed by Williston's 598 (210,213), Senior Dylan Ringo's 574 (212,191) and Delaune's 560 (199,213). Dickerson rolled a 188 and Senior Parker Wales added a 186.
    On Wednesday (2-15-17) at All Star Lanes, the Wildcats downed Woodlawn by a final score of 25-2 and 3178-2209.  Yet again Aucoin led the way with a 640 (222,212,206) which included picking up the 7-10 split!!!  Ringo was right behind with a 620 (211,239) with Senior Klaivon Woods rolling a 206, Dickerson adding a 191 and Delaune with a 199.
    To wrap up this two week period, the Wildcats took control of the BR District 1 on Monday after defeating Zachary at Circle Bowl on Monday (2-20-17). The WIldcats won by a final score of 26-1 and 2966-1806.  Aucoin’s 553 (198, 188) was high for Central and Ringo added a 208 and Wales rolled a 182.
