Birth Certificates Now Available for Immediate Purchase

    East Baton Rouge Parish Clerk of Court Doug Welborn has announced that birth certificates are now available for immediate purchase at the office’s City Hall location in downtown Baton Rouge. 
    “We are pleased to be able to offer this service to our customers in Baton Rouge now.  The process is fast and efficient and we issue certificates to the customer at the time of their visit,” Welborn said.
    The Birth Certificate Office, located on the first floor of City Hall at 222 St. Louis Street, is open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.  The service is available on a walk-in basis only.  The office also has death certificates available from recent years.
