Central Fire Department Responds to House Fire

Central Fire Department responded one engine company and two chiefs to assist East Side Fire Department with a working house fire approximately 1:30 am Friday (8/26/2016) in the 14200 block of Jane Seymour.  On arrival firefighters discovered a home with heavy fire involvement in the rear and attic.  The occupants safely evacuated and there were no fire service injuries.
 
District Six and St. George Fire Departments assisted at the scene.  Supplementing personnel for Central Fire Department were two firefighters from Bossier City and supplementing personnel for East Side Fire Department were two firefighters from Idlewild North Carolina.  Bossier City firefighters have been assigned at CFD stations 31 and 33 for this entire week as over half of the full time CFD fire fighters suffered flood damage to their homes.
