CHS Girls’ Basketball Summer Update

The Central High School Lady Wildcats basketball team is in the midst of a busy summer entering next season. They began one of four competitive college camps, playing at McNeese State on Saturday, June 4—winning two of four games. The girls will also participate in competitive team camps at UNO, ULL, and LSU. Coach Terrior Morris-Jones is entering her third season as the girls’ basketball coach. The Lady Wildcats are led by 5 returning seniors—Hannah Cowart, Sarah Douglas, Myia Forbes, Ebony Johnson, and Jojo O’Conner. The basketball team also plays in the Broadmoor High Summer League, in which they currently hold a 3-1 record, with victories over Baker, St. Joseph’s Academy, and Southern Lab.
