Festival of Two Rivers Begins Friday

    It’s time again for the annual St. Alphonsus Festival of Two Rivers!  The festival is both a fun community event and a fundraiser for the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and School.  Festival hours are this Friday 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  There will also be a 5K and fun run this Saturday morning at 8 a.m.  Some fun events for this weekend include Big River Express Friday night, St. Alphonsus School performances midday Saturday, Legworks by Terri performance, Bingo, and Kenny Acosta Saturday afternoon, and Run Jane Run Saturday night.  Sunday entertainment includes Little Joseph and the Yayas in the morning, and Destiny Manzella, St. Alphonsus School Band, and Bingo in the afternoon.  There will be more fun activities and, of course, food and other items for sale.  Come enjoy this annual event that has become a staple in Central’s community calendar!  Visit www.festivaloftworivers.com for more information or to download the registration form for the 5K fun run.
