In Memoriam: Mary Holden

    Mary Adelaide Holden, 86, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at her home in Central, LA. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed dearly. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Tuesday, March 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a graveside service to immediately follow at Whitman-Perkins Cemetery, Baywood, LA, officiated by Rev. George Threeton. 
    She is survived by her children, Frank McCauley, Jr. and wife,  JoAnn, Neal McCauley and wife, Gwen, Irene Pierre and Wayne Mayers, Murphy Holden, Jr. and Tina Woods, Mark Holden and wife, Tonya, and daughter, Linda Holden; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; sister, Ann Barnett; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Murphy Holden, Sr.; children, Margaret Ann Holden, Melanie Mae Schaffer, and Murray Holden; parents, O’Neal and Elma Mae McPhatter Carpenter; and siblings, Marie Haley and Charles Dear.
