In Memoriam: Creighton Cunningham

Creighton Hugh Cunningham, 82, of Greenwell Springs, LA, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2015. He served and defended his country in the United States Army. Creighton loved to go bowling, as well as hunting and fishing in his spare time. He retired after 20 years of service as a switchman for the railroad. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, LA, on Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. until service at 2 p.m. He is survived by his loving wife, Lila Curtis Cunningham; daughters, Karen Gayle Cunningham, and Donna Lynn Cunningham Ebbs; grandchildren, Brandon Ty Parker, Cameron Chase Cox, and Tristan Wyatt Ebbs; great-grandson Aden Parker; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell Lane Cunningham; granddaughter, Kayla Lynne Bjorndahl; parents, James and Eva Hazelwood Cunningham; brother, James Watson Cox, Jr.; and sister, Joyce Cummings.
