In Memoriam: Janet Norder

    Janet Nettles Norder passed peacefully in her sleep after a long illness into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ. Janet was born August 17, 1961 and passed away on October 26, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Donald and Margie Baxley Nettles and her brother Donnie Nettles. She is survived by daughter Keri Norder and son Christian Nettles; sister, caretaker, and companion Donna Kaye Nettles Brittain of Central, and sister Ginger Nettles; nephew Jason Dreher and wife Kaci Davis Dreher; and two grandnieces Kami Mekel and Jaci Anna Dreher who were more precious than gold to her; and niece Tiffiny Nettles Girouard and husband, all of Baton Rouge. 
    Pallbearers are Jason Dreher, Bill Norder, Christian Nettles, Jerry Lemoine, Larry LeBlanc, and Brandon Peairs. Honorary pallbearers are Bob Mullis and Emmitt Cazes. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central, on Wednesday, Oct. 28, from 12 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Zoar Baptist Cemetery, officiated by Pastor Nicolas LeBlanc.
