First Responder Masses at St. Alphonsus

    The next time you hear a siren in the distance, don’t just say a prayer for the victim and their families.  Say a prayer for the people who face these tragedies every day and do the best they can to save someone who is loved.  We never see the tears of these brave men and women, but God does.
     For the wellbeing and safety of our communities these men and women protect us each day by focusing on the importance of their jobs of public safety officers, emergency personnel, and first responders.
     In gratitude and to honor them for their service we are extending a special invitation to all emergency personnel and public safety officers; law enforcers, firefighters, and all first responders,  to join us for a special blessing  and recognition at our Masses on October 24, 4:00 p.m. & 25,  8:00 & 10 a.m. and 12 noon  at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs.
     Let’s all come together to give honor and thanks to those who protect and serve us.
