Covenant Community Church Taste Fair August 22

    The senior citizens of Covenant Community Church call themselves the “Joyful Hearts.” They have been in the process of working hard on a very special cookbook for several months.  The target release date will be sometime this fall.
    They are planning a free event called “Joyfully Delicious Gala Taste Fair,” which the public is invited to attend.  Everyone will have an opportunity to taste some of the prepared recipes that will be in the book.  Smiley Anders of The Advocate, Coach Sid Edwards of Central Schools, and Valarie Hodges, our Louisiana State Representative will be the celebrity judges for the affair.  
    Folks attending the tasting will have a chance to pre-order the books.  All profits will go toward church mission projects. The event will be held at 6.00 p.m. on Saturday, August 22.  Come to Covenant Community Church Fellowship Hall at 22325 Greenwell Springs Rd.  If you have any questions call 226-261-3088.
