Roundabout Construction Update And a Note about Carpooling to School

Due to delays with a week of rain and utility conflicts, the expected completion date of the roundabout at Joor and Gurney has been pushed back to late August, meaning it won't be open for the start of school. As a result, Superintendent Mike Faulk has announced that ALL carpool traffic to Central Intermediate and Central Middle Schools must enter and exit from Devall Rd. No carpool traffic will be allowed to enter or exit from Sullivan Rd. The school driveways onto Sullivan Road will be blocked, and faculty and deputies will be on hand to direct traffic around the campus for carpool. The best solution to help with the carpool traffic is to make sure students ride the school bus to and from school. Your cooperation is appreciated.
