Arrest Made in $35,000 Theft

EBR Sheriff’s Officers, responding to a tip, arrived on June 11th at the dead end of Droze Road to find a 20’ trailer loaded with two stolen ATVs and a stolen boat. The merchandise was a portion of over $35,000 in items stolen the previous day.
The EBRSO investigation led to the recovery of another trailer and multiple tools also a part of the same theft. Calvin C. Dean of Central was subsequently arrested on two counts of Theft of a Motor Vehicle and one count of Felony Theft and was booked into Parish Prison.
