Credit Card Theft Arrest by EBRSO

George Edmond Forest, Jr. of Sullivan Road in Central was arrested Monday by EBR Sheriffs on charges of fraud, theft, and possession of stolen goods. The accused admitted to meeting a woman known as Senam Waussi on an internet forum and then receiving packages Waussi had delivered to Forest’s Sullivan Road apartment. In addition, Forest picked up packages from various stores and shipped them all to an address in Accra, Ghana.
Among the items handled by the accused was one cell phone purchased using a stolen credit card number. That transaction led to Forest’s arrest. He was booked into Parish Prison.
