Bellingrath Offering Summer Enrichment Program

    A summer enrichment program, A Trip Around the World, is being offered at Bellingrath Hills Elementary (BHE) for two weeks, July 6-9 and July 13 – 16.  This program is open to entering pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade students. The program will run from Monday through Thursday during this period, from 8:30 – 11:30 a.m. A snack will be provided. Parents are invited to attend on Thursdays for a review of what their children have learned during the week.
    This program, designed by BHE teachers, is planned to excite and engage your child while maintaining the rigorous academic standards for which our community schools are noted. The program will be differentiated to meet the various needs of individual students and will address grade level skills that will be needed in the upcoming school year. Tour guides (highly certified teachers) will be leading young minds in hands on, engaging activities that address multiple academic and social skills. Your child will come home every day with a freshly stamped passport and plenty of information about the new land just visited.
    Cost for this program is $75 for one week or $150 for a two week session. Spaces are still available on a limited basis. Application forms can be found on the BHE website, the CCSS website under the Facebook tab, at the CCSS Central Office on Joor Road, and at Bellingrath Hills. A deposit of $25 for a one week session or $50 for a two week session is due at the time of application. Total cost is due July 6th.
