CHS ROTC Program Likely to Continue

After consideration was given earlier this school year to eliminate the ROTC program at Central High School, Superintendent Faulk has recommended to the School Board that the program be retained.
At Monday’s School Board meeting Faulk reported that if the ROTC program were eliminated it could probably not be brought back. Faulk stated that the future success of the program will hinge heavily on the selection of the right people to fill the shoes of the current instructors who are both moving on to other opportunities. The School Board will vote on this proposal at next Monday’s meeting.
