CHS Baseball Defeats Scotlandville and Denham Springs

The Central Baseball team opened up District play with two victories. The Cats beat Scotlandville 11-0 Thursday night. Joseph Schopp had a Grand Slam Homerun, and Ross Melton had a good outing on the mound. Saturday, Central defeated Denham Springs 3-0, behind the strong pitching of Dayton Guercio, Cameron Polk, and Shane Fontenot. The Cats will be back at the Yard on Thursday to face Broadmoor, before going on the road to face Walker on Saturday, and Live Oak on Tuesday, April 7. Come out and support Central High Baseball.
