The Central Chamber Report: Medium Business of the Year – Sullivan’s Hardware!

    On Thursday, February 26 the Central Chamber held the 5th annual Central Chamber Awards Banquet.  The evening was eventful and memorable.  We are currently printing a series of articles in which we will highlight the award winners of the various categories.  This week we are highlighting the Medium Business of the Year for 2014 – Sullivan’s Hardware.
    Sullivan’s Hardware has been a part of the Central Chamber since the Chamber’s inception in 2005 and has been a pillar of the business community for many, many years.  Lance Butler, the current owner who has been with the business for over 20 years, first came to work for this business in July of 1992 because he was looking for a job.  This position was only going to be a temporary one until he could find a job at a plant. Lance fell in love with this type of business and with the people of Central.  So much so, that in October of 2010 he proudly bought this business because he wanted to invest in a community that he believed in.   Over the years Lance has carried on the rich tradition this business has represented to our community, willingly supported the Chamber and its various activities, supported community efforts, and has given back to the city he deeply cares about.  It is an honor and a privilege to declare Sullivan’s Hardware the winner of the 2014 Medium Business of the Year Award!  Congratulations Sullivan’s Hardware and owner Lance Butler!
