Public Meeting Regarding Roundabout Construction at Joor Rd and Gurney Rd

From the City of Central
Metro Councilman Scott Wilson and City-Parish officials will be on hand on Monday, March 23 at 6pm at the Central Branch Library on Joor Rd to provide details on the new roundabout construction at Joor Rd and Gurney Rd. Utility relocations are currently underway and construction is set to start on May 26. Studies completed by the City-Parish and the city of Central both show that the roundabout will function at a better level of service than a traffic signal with turning lanes. City-Parish engineers will be at the meeting to explain the studies and construction schedule.
