CCSS Committee of the Whole Meeting Wednesday

The Committee of the Whole will meet on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 in the Meeting Room of the Administrative Offices beginning at 6:00 p.m.  This is a public meeting.  The agenda is below.

The meeting has been called to consider the following proposals from the superintendent:
Proposal #1: Articulation of a vision for the school system
Proposal #2: Recommend approach to addressing the ROTC program for the 2015-2016 school year
Proposal #3: Restructuring of the alteernative program and discipline center structures
Proposal #4: Reassignment of duties and restructuring of positions
The purpose of this meeting will be the receipt of information from the superintendent.  This information will be placed on the school system website as well as distributed through various means of communication.  Board members will receive feedback from parents, staff, and community members via email, phone calls, or personal contact.  Comments from citizens would be welcomed by going to the school system website and clicking on a link being provided.
The committee of the whole will have a follow-up meeting on Monday, April 6 to have an in-depth discussion of each of these proposals.
