February 2015 Building Permits
From the City of Central
During the month of February 2015 in the city of Central, a total of 24 new residential permits were issued. The total valuation of these permits was $4,683,246.
Within these February permits, six were issued in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $170,764; two in Twin Lakes Estates with an average valuation of $207,809; one in Village at Magnolia Square with a valuation of $236,700; one in Bellingrath Lakes with a valuation of $230,776; five in Gates at Burlington with an average valuation of $152,400; one in Village Lakes valued at $227,156; one in Indian Mound valued at $154,632; four in Hampton Village with an average valuation of $204,338; one on Denham Rd valued at $210,620; one on Joor Rd valued at $257,160; and one on Old Greenwell Springs Rd valued at $346,648.
Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes. The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
On the commercial side, plan reviews were submitted for the following:
1. Carlton’s Seafood, 12424 Hooper Rd.; 396 sq. ft. addition
2. Base Contractors, LLC, 10218 Sullivan Rd Ste C-1; Commercial Remodeling; 1383 sq. ft.
3. Pace Construction Services, 12493 Hooper Rd; Commercial Building; 3200 sq. ft.
4. Trade Construction, 17043 Joor Rd; Commercial Addition; 24,215 sq. ft.
