January 2015 Building Permits

From the City of Central
    During the month of January 2015 in the city of Central, a total of 9 new residential permits were issued.  The total valuation of these permits was $1,717,647.  
    Within these January permits, two were issued in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $172,655; six in Twin Lakes Estates with an average valuation of $196,430; and one on Planchet Road valued at $212,176.
    Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes.  The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder.
    On the commercial side, plan reviews were submitted for the following: 
    1.  Commercial remodeling for General Nutrition Center (GNC) at 10218 Sullivan Rd Ste C1 (in               front of Walmart)
    2.  Voice of Pentecost Church located at 14754 Frenchtown Rd
    3.  Firmin Construction Corporation for Veterans Memorial Park located at 11515 Sullivan Rd.
