Central Bowling Crushes Denham Springs

CHS Bowling (2-0) crushed both the Denham Springs boys (0-2) and girls (1-1) bowling teams on Monday (1-26-15). In fact, both teams had their matches wrapped up after the first two games with the boys (2-0) up 16-0 and the girls (2-0) up 14-2.
The boys came out with a tremendous 1180 in Game 1 and followed that up with a nice 1096 in Game 2. With the match in hand, Central emptied the bench and rolled a 976. Overall the Wildcats won 25-2 and 3252 to the Yellow Jacket’s 2486 (908, 748, 830) in Total Pins. Jacob Garretson (Senior/Captain) led the way with a great 705 series (236, 253, 216) and Parker Aucoin (Sophomore) followed with a 621 (206, 202, 213). Dylan Ringo (Sophomore) chipped in with a 213 and Jonathan Ryder (Junior) with a 198.
The girls’ match was pretty much the same as the Wildcats defeated Denham 20.5-6.5 and 2533-2333. The Wildcats rolled games of 823, 951 and 759 to Denham’s 725, 832 and 776. Sarah LeDuff (Junior) led the team with a 567 (221, 192) and Haley Young (Senior/Junior) was right behind with a 519 (180). Kaylee Robinson (Junior) chipped in a 166.
Both teams are back in action on Wednesday (1-28-15) at All Star Lanes (3:15pm). Both matches will be for early control of their respective districts and will be matches of unbeatens. The boys bowl Broadmoor (2-0) and the girls take on St Josephs Academy (1-0).
