Eddlemon Named Academic All-District

Conway, Arkansas – Hendrix College Sophomore Linebacker Thomas Eddlemon has been named to the 2014 NCAA Division III Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District V Team, CoSIDA officials announced Thursday. CoSIDA is the College Sports Information Directors of America.
    Thomas Eddlemon is a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a graduate of Central High School. He currently leads the Warrior Football team in Tackles with 63 tackles, 5.5 for a loss, and 1 sack.  He is currently 6th in Total Tackles with 63and 10th  in SAA for Tkls P/G with 7.0 Avg (All Games). He leads the Conference in Tackles for Assist with 32 and  5th in Total Tackles 47 and 5th in Average Tackles 9.4 per Game, during conference play.  As a Mathematics Major, Eddlemon is a 4.0 student and received Dean’s List Honors at Hendrix College during the 2013-2014 Semesters.
    By virtue of being named to the Academic All-District team, Eddlemon is now eligible for Academic All-America® honors.  CoSIDA's Academic All-America® program has recognized student-athletes for their accomplishments on the field and in the classroom for over 50 years. CoSIDA members nominate and vote in selection of Academic All-District and All-America performers in 12 sport categories across all divisions of college athletics.
