Parker Orthodontics Holds Ribbon Cutting
Dr. Joshua Parker, owner of a new orthodontic practice in Central, Parker Orthodontics, held a Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony last week.
Dr. Parker, a graduate of Central Private High School and LSU School of Dentistry, was born and raised in Central, LA and is excited to open a practice in his hometown. Parker Orthodontics, formerly Harbour Orthodontics, is proud to serve the community of Central.
“I knew after I graduated, I wanted to come home and open my own practice. I was fortunate enough to have met Dr. John Harbour while in dental school and was presented with this great opportunity,” says Dr. Joshua Parker.
Last Friday, on Halloween, the doctor and staff members of Parker Orthodontics, along with several city officials, gathered at the Central office for the official ribbon cutting. To get in the Halloween spirit, Dr. Parker and the entire team wore Halloween costumes.
“We want our patients to have fun. We have monthly contests and games to win prizes. My team and I have fun and I think that translates into a great patient experience,” explains Dr. Parker.
Dr. Parker provides quality orthodontic care for children, teens and adults at his locations in Baton Rouge and Central and coming soon to Gonzales. The office utilizes the latest advancements in orthodontics including self-ligating brackets, lingual braces and Invisalign, and also accepts most insurance.
