Grief Recovery Center Hosts “This is the Life” Event
“This is the Life” is the theme of an exciting, fun-filled event that Grief Recovery Center will host from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 22, at Caliente Mexican Craving restaurant located at 1072 W. Lee Dr. This event is free to the public.
By providing face painting, meet and greet with princesses, spacewalk and other fun activities, “This is the Life” will bring happiness to children and families as the holiday season approaches. Raffle prize items donated by local businesses and boutiques will be awarded at the end of the event. Caliente Mexican Craving will provide complimentary food to all attendees.
“We are excited to see the community come together and experience the joys of life,” said Kathy Vilas , executive director of Grief Recovery Center. She said she hopes the community is as excited about this new fun family event as she is. “We want people to see that there is hope for happiness, even in time of grief.”

Grief Recovery Center is a local nonprofit organization that seeks to compassionately assist all those experiencing grief to move beyond the pain of loss, isolation and loneliness through support, education and counseling in the process of healing.
