Wayne and Diane Leader Celebrate 50th Anniversary

    Wayne and Diane Leader of Central celebrated their 50th anniversary on September 26, 2014.  Wayne & Diane’s three children and their spouses are Pam & Allen Cannon of Greenville SC, Tammy & Les Burl of Central, and Craig & Laurie Leader of Central.  They have seven grandchildren: Cecilia Jones, Jamie, Ariel, Clair, & Tamara Shows and Brooks & Brett Cannon.  Wayne and Diane have resided in Central for almost 40 years and are enjoying their “golden” years together by traveling in their RV attending LSU sporting events. Wayne & Diane were very grateful that their children & grandchildren hosted a surprise celebration on the exact day of their 50th Anniversary, which was attended by family & friends.  The celebration included a photo slide show of their wedding pictures and pictures taken throughout their 50 years of marriage as well as touching video messages from their grandchildren. Decorations included replicas of their original wedding cake, bridal bouquet and invitations.
