The City of Central Board of Adjustment will hold a public hearing on October 23, 2014 at 5:00pm at Kristenwood Meeting Facility, 14025 Greenwell Springs Rd, Central, LA 70739 to consider the following item(s):

BOA-17-14 This property is located at 15425 Ski Stone Drive on Lot 8 of Ski Stone Subdivision. The applicant requests the Board of Adjustment to grant a variance of Section 2.2 (D)(4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code which states that no accessory structure may exceed 1,000 square feet in the Single Family Residential One Zoning District. The applicant proposes to place a 1,200 square foot RV cover on the property. The applicant is Jeffrey P. Meyers

BOA-18-14 This property is located at 15569 Joor Road on Tract A-3 of the former Smith property. The applicant requests the Board of Adjustment to grant a variance of Section 2.2 (D)(4) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code which states that no accessory structure may exceed 1,600 square feet in the Rural/Agriculture Zoning District. The applicant proposes to place a 3,000 square foot accessory structure on the property. The applicant is Deborah and David Burnaman.

BOA-19-14 This property is located at 14178 Lovett Road on Tract E-1 of the former Wylie Buhler Property. The applicant requests the Board of Adjustment to grant a variance for the expansion of nonconforming use in conformance with Section 15.2 I(1) of the Comprehensive Zoning Code. The applicant proposes to add a 600 square foot carport cover for storage in conjunction with a nonconforming use. The applicant is Rory Bell.

BOA-20-14 This property is located at 8196 C Droze Road on Tract 2A of the former Carr Tract.  The applicant requests a variance of the side yard setback from 25 feet to 12.5 feet in accordance with Section 13.6 A of the Comprehensive Zoning Code in order to construct a new residence. The applicant is Chris Phelps.
