New School Year Begins! Be Aware of Local School Zones

The following school zone hours are effective in Central starting with the first day of school (Aug. 7 for Central Public Schools and St. Alphonsus, and August 11 for Central Private):
Bellingrath Elementary: 7:15 – 8:15 am & 2:45 – 3:45 pm
Central Intermediate & Middle: 6:30 – 8:30 pm & 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Central High School: 6:30 – 7:30 am & 2:30 – 3:30 pm
Tanglewood Elementary: 7:30 – 8:30 am & 3:00 – 4:00 pm
Central Private: 6:45 – 7:45 am & 2:30 – 3:30 pm
St. Alphonsus: 7:30 – 8:30 am & 3:00 – 4:00 pm
All school zones are 20mph with the exception of Central Private
on Gurney Rd which is 35mph.
