June Building Permits Report

During the month of June 2014 in the city of Central, a total of 16 new residential permits were issued. The total valuation of these permits was $3,512,358. 
 
Within these June permits, five were issued in Burlington Lakes with an average valuation of $168,173; one in Gates at Burlington valued at $143,750; one in Village at Magnolia Square valued at $496,032; one in Twin Lakes Estates valued at $251,704; five in Woodstock with an average valuation of $217,307; two in Village Lakes valued at $226,105; and one in Wisteria Lakes valued at $241,256. 
 
Building valuation is the price based upon the square footage of the home used for permitting purposes. The actual selling price of the home is usually higher than the valuation and depends upon amenities installed by the builder. 
 
On the commercial side, permits were issued for commercial remodeling at the following addresses: 18901 Greenwell Springs Rd, 10700 Hooper Rd, and 14350 Wax Rd Ste 112. Also, a permit has been applied for by BREC to construct a new Splash Pad at Jackson Park on Sullivan Rd.
