Thank You to Two Local Restaurants

    I would like to give a very special thanks to two of our local restaurants. When my brother, Douglas (Doug) Arbour, passed away in February, Buddy Caminita at Sammy's restaurant called my husband up asked him about how many people would there be after his wake. My husband Donald told him and not only did Buddy come to my brother's wake for our support, but when we got to my other brother's house in Watson Buddy and the staff at Sammy's had enough food for us to eat on for days. They had jambalaya, salad, fruit tray, sandwich tray. That is what the City of Central is all about!
    The second restaurant I would like to give a special thanks to is Mike Anderson's. We had family coming in from out of state and they were hungry! I called Dustin at Mike Anderson's and explained our situation. He asked me about how many people and I told him. I also told him they were coming in at different times. He said it was no problem.  They put us in the banquet room and didn't rush us even though they closed at a certain time. That is what the City of Central is all about. Taking care of their people.
