In Memoriam: John Dauzat

   John Kenneth Dauzat passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at his residence in Baton Rouge at the age of 62. He was retired from CMC and a native of Alexandria. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home in Central on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
   He is survived by his daughter, Valerie Dauzat; son and daughter-in-law, John T. and Erin Dauzat; 2 brothers, Willis and Ronald "Tot" Dauzat; grandchildren, Sarah and Evan Dauzat. He was preceded in death by his wife, Madeline Frances Dupreast Dauzat; brother, James "Tookie" Dauzat.
   He used to love to hunt and fish and play the bass guitar and was a huge Saints fan. Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, New York 10018.
