City Council Meeting Tonight
There will be a City Council meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 6PM at Kristenwood on Greenwell Springs Road. The meeting is open to the public. The agenda is below.

a) An ordinance amending the General Fund Budget and the Dedicated Fund Budgets for the Emergency Services, Drainage, and Local Road Improvement & Maintenance Fund Fees, the Half Cent Sales and Use Tax and the Traffic Contribution Funds for the 2013-2014 Fiscal Year and providing for related matters. a) An ordinance to further implement Phase Two of the 2010 Master Plan by rezoning all parcels to zoning classifications in the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance and to provide for related matters. (By Councilman DeJohn)
Commission Action (April 24, 2014): A motion to approve the Comprehensive
Zoning Map was made by Mr. Paul Burns, seconded by Mr. T. J. Johnson with
the following conditions:
1) The non-conforming standards should be revised in the Comprehensive Zoning Code;
2) Clarification is needed regarding building square footage in the B-5
Zoning District in the Comprehensive Zoning Code;
3) Property owners who may be downzoned from a commercial zoning district to a less intense zoning district should be offered a 6 month window from adoption of the zoning map to apply for a rezoning for free.
Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Burns, Johnson, Matlock, Rauls, Reado, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays and the motion carried.

1) Introduction of the following item(s) (with public hearing to be held at the June 10, 2014
council meeting):

2) Discussion and action regarding the following case(s):
a) RZ-4-14 Rezone from Rural to R-1 (Residential One): To rezone from Rural to R-1 property at the west end of Tallowwood Avenue on Tracts 2A and 2B of Sections 1 and 2, T6S, R1E, GLD for a single family residential subdivision and to provide for related matters. Applicant: Thomas Barber (By Councilman DeJohn)
Commission Action (April 24, 2014): A motion to approve RZ-4-14 was made by Mr. Graydon Walker, seconded by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Burns, Johnson, Matlock, Rauls, Reado, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays and the motion carried.
b) PUD-1-14 Rezone from Rural to R-2 (Single Family Residential Two) and granting a Conditional Use Permit: To rezone from Rural to R-2 and to grant a Conditional Use Permit for property located on the southwest corner of the intersection of Sullivan Road and Sparkle Drive on Tracts B, C, D, E-1 and E-2 in Section 69, T6S, R2E, GLD for a Planned Unit Development with 78 single family residential lots. Applicant: Joseph Marino (By Councilman DeJohn)
Commission Action (Deferred from the March 24, 2014 meeting; April 24, 2014): A motion to deny PUD-1-14 was made by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani, seconded by Mr. Harry Rauls. Vote: 3 yeas (Messrs: Matlock, Rauls, Sharafkhani), 4 nays (Messrs: Burns, Johnson, Reado, Walker) and the motion failed.
A motion to approve PUD-1-14 was made by Mr. T. J. Johnson, seconded by Mr.
Wilson Reado. Vote: 4 yeas (Messrs: Burns Johnson, Reado, Walker), 3 nays
(Messrs: Matlock, Rauls, Sharafkhani) and the motion carried.
