CIS Student Wins 3rd Place in Tar Wars Poster Contest

4th and 5th grade students were challenged to create original, positive posters supporting the Tar Wars message of being smoke-free for the state-wide Tar Wars poster contest. Central Intermediate 4th grader Cadence Creppel was awarded third place in the state of Louisiana for her colorful artwork promoting this smoke-free message. Congratulations, Cadence! Dr. Thomas Caton, Chief Resident at Baton Rouge General and Tar Wars instructor, and Megan Daniel, state Tar Wars coordinator, presented the award to Cadence.
