Central Private Baseball Comes Full Circle

By  |

thomas doucetB    Thomas Doucet, a Central Private junior, has Central Private history behind his name.  In 1982, Central Private won its first Overall State Championship.  That game was pitched by his father, David Doucet.  Thomas brought this full circle when he successfully pitched Saturday’s winning game of the 2014 MAIS Overall State Championship in Minden, LA located near Shreveport.  Thomas' playoff stats were 5-0, with no earned runs in 27 innings allowing only 1 walk. This, along with amazing Rebel defense in the field kept the Glenbrook Patriots to only 1 run as the Rebels won the State title 5-1.  Great job to the entire Rebel team!
