Hooper & Joor Booming
In recent weeks word has spread about three businesses soon to occupy the corner of Hooper and Joor Roads. As one of Central’s busiest intersections, it follows that national chains Taco Bell, Little Ceasar’s, and Walmart Neighborhood Market have chosen to locate here.
The new building for Little Ceasar’s is already well on its way to completion on the southeast (Zoar) corner. Taco Bell has long been rumored to be looking for a location in Central, and they are now seeking a conditional use permit on the lot next to McDonald’s. If Central’s City Council approves the permit, Taco Bell is reported to be targeting groundbreaking for this summer.
Walmart Neighborhood Market is a Grocery and Drug Store version of its big brother Super Walmart, as Central has on Sullivan Road. The property just a few lots west of McDonald’s on the north side of Hooper.
