Festival of Two Rivers This Weekend

    The 2014 St. Alphonsus Festival of Two Rivers is being held this weekend.  The family-friendly fundraising event will be open this Friday, May 2nd, from 5PM t0 11PM, Saturday from 11AM to 10PM, and Sunday from 11AM to 5PM.  The festival is open to the community.  Proceeds benefit St. Alphonsus Church and School.  The festival will feature food, live entertainment by local students, groups, and bands, an auction, and carnival rides.  Height restrictions may reply to rides.  “Passports” are available for unlimited rides, and armbands are available for specific time slots.  A variety of food and drinks will be available, featuring Italian, Cajun, American and fun food.  Barbecue chicken dinners will also be sold on Sunday only from 11AM until 2PM.  Other fun and games will include a progressive auction, sucker roulette, grab bag, bean bag, ring-a-drink, face painting, basketball, darts, and jail.  The schedule of events is below.  Bring the kids and enjoy a fun time while supporting St. Alphonsus.
