1) Introduction of the following item(s) (with public hearing to be held at the April 22, 2014 
 council meeting): 
 
a) SS-3-14 Waiver of Ordinance No. 2009-08 requiring connection to the public 
sewer for four subdivided lots on Gurney Road: To grant a waiver of 
Ordinance No. 2009-08 requiring connection to the public sewer for the four 
subdivided lots of Tract B of the former Donovan C. Furr property located on the 
north side of Gurney Road between Partridgewood Drive and Centerra Court 
intersections in Section 36, T5S, R1E, GLD into four tracts for single family 
residential use. Applicant: Julius R. Furr (By Councilman DeJohn) 
 
 Commission Action (March 27, 2014): A motion to recommend approval of SS-
3-14 and SS-4-13 with the stipulation that there shall not be any further 
subdivision of the property without connection to public sewer was made by Mr. 
T. J. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Wilson Reado. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: Burns, 
Johnson, Matlock, Rauls, Reado, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays, and the motion 
carried. 
 
b) SS-4-14 Waiver of Ordinance No. 2009-08 requiring connection to the public 
sewer for three subdivide lots on Gurney Road: To grant a waiver of 
Ordinance No. 2009-08 requiring connection to the public sewer for the three 
subdivided lots of Tract A of the former Donovan C. Furr property located on the 
north side of Gurney Road between Partridgewood Drive and Centerra Court 
intersections in Section 36, T5S, R1E, GLD into three tracts for single family 
residential use. Applicant: Marlo and Virginia Jensen (By Councilman DeJohn) 
 
 Commission Action (March 27, 2014): A motion to recommend approval of SS-

c) RZ-2-14 Rezone from Rural to B-1 (Neighborhood Business District One): 
To rezone from Rural to B-1 (Neighborhood Business District One), Lot F of the 
former Kennard Property located at 18364 Magnolia Bridge Road in Section 66, 
T6S, R2E, GLD for a real estate office. Applicant: Tammy Williams (By 
Councilman DeJohn) 
 
 Commission Action (March 27, 2014): A motion to approve RZ-2-14 was made 
by Mr. Graydon Walker, seconded by Mr. Bijan Sharafkhani. Vote: 7 yeas 
(Messrs: Burns, Johnson, Matlock, Rauls, Reado, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays 
and the motion carried. 
 
d) RZ-3-14 Rezone from Rural to R-1 (Residential One): To rezone from Rural 
to R-1 (Residential One), property on the north side of Denham Road near the 
Wilmington Drive and Crystal Place intersections on the former Keith Pierce 
Property located in Sections 48, 47 and 21, T5S, R2E, GLD for a single family 
residential subdivision. Applicant: Casey Patterson (By Councilman DeJohn) 
 
 Commission Action (March 27, 2014): A motion to approve RZ-3-14 was made 
by Mr. T. J. Johnson, seconded by Mr. Harry Rauls. Vote: 7 yeas (Messrs: 
Burns, Johnson, Matlock, Rauls, Reado, Sharafkhani, Walker), 0 nays and the 
motion carried. 
 
e) CUP-1-14 Conditional Use Permit: To grant a Conditional Use Permit for 
14790 Wax Rd., Ste 108, a portion of Lot Y in Central Parke, located in Sections 
8 and 9 in T6S, R2E, GLD for dispensing alcoholic beverages. Applicant: Dean 
Rivere (By Councilman DeJohn) 
 
 Commission Action (March 27, 2014): A motion to approve CUP-1-14 was 
made by Mr. T. J. Johnson, seconded by Mr. David Matlock. Vote: 5 yeas 
(Messrs: Burns, Johnson, Matlock, Reado, Sharafkhani), 2 nays (Messrs: Rauls, 
Walker) and the motion carried.
