National Youth Art Month Story/Craft Saturday, March 1, 11 a.m.
It’s National Youth Art Month, and we’re celebrating creativity at the Greenwell Springs Road Regional Branch! Children ages 8-11 are invited to the library on Saturday, March 1, at 11:00a.m. to listen to and participate in the colorful story A Book about Color: A Clear and Simple Guide for Young Artists by Mark Gonyea. After the story, children will claim a space on the library wall of fame and display their artistic skills by drawing on a paper wall! For more information and to register, call (225) 274-4460.

Play a Memory Game! Saturday, March 1, 2:30 p.m.
Children ages 6-10 can come to the Pride-Chaneyville Branch on Saturday, March 1, at 2:30 p.m. to hear the book Finding Nemo. After the story, we’ll play memory game about the story. Be sure to pay attention! For more information and to register, call (225) 658-1560.

Read Across America
In early March, several of the East Baton Rouge Parish Library branches, including the new Main Library will hold programs to celebrate the national “Read Across America Day” in memory of Ted Geisel, creator of the Dr. Seuss books.
Central Branch: March 3rd at 4:30pm. Ages 3-6
Pride-Chaneyville Branch: March 5th at 11am. Ages 2-10; Wear your favorite hat for The Cat in the Hat parade!

Make a Hex Nut Bracelet Wednesday, March 5, 3:00 p.m.
