Pelican Chapter Announces 2014 Officers

BATON ROUGE, LA— The Pelican Chapter of Associated Builders & Contractors, Inc. announced the Officers  and  Board of Directors at an Installation Banquet  held Thursday, January 16th at The Hilton Capitol Center to install these officers.

    The Executive Committee members are: Chairman, Ronnie Gulino (of Central) with ISC Constructors; Chair – Elect, Joe Wiley with Excel Constructors;  Secretary, Chet Ferachi with Performance Contractors; Treasurer, Ryan Girouard with Whitney Bank; Vice Chair of Education and Manpower, Ray Neck with Turner Industries;  Vice Chair Member Growth, Brian Bordelon with Triad Electric and Controls, Inc.; Vice Chair Member Services, Trey Crawford with Grady Crawford Construction; Vice Chair Outlying Area, Andy Lopez with Bennett Builders.; Vice Chair Governmental Relations, Lee Mayeux with Cajun Industries.; Past Chairman, Todd Grigsby with Cajun Industries, LLC

    The 2014 Board of Directors are: Jimmy Couch with NAES Industrial; Austin Gaffney with Regions Insurance; Greg Landry with The Lemoine Company; Fred McManus with CB&I; Jeff Plauche with BOH Brothers; Boo Ragan with Excel Constructors; Glen Redd with Triad Electric & Controls; Thad Rispone with ISC Constructors; Sarah Taylor with Gulf Coast Occupational Medicine; Wade Walker with Jacobs; Scott Couper with Pala; and Donn Peterson with Group Industries.

    Three awards were also given during the evening.   The 2014 Committee Member of The Year Award recipient was Ryan Girouard with Whitney Bank.

The 2014 Beam Club award  was presented to Andy Lopez with Bennett Builders

    The prestigious Merit Shop Member of the Year, selected by her peers, was presented to Sarah Taylor with Gulf Coast Occupational Medicine.

Associated Builders & Contractors is a national association of dedicated individuals, companies, and corporations who, for over half a century, have advanced and defended free enterprise, excellence and the Merit Shop philosophy throughout the construction industry.
