In Memoriam: Mildred Pauline Giles
Mildred Pauline Giles passed away at 11:30 AM Wednesday, October 2, 2013 at the Carpenter House in Baton Rouge at the age of 87. She was born in Oliver Springs, Tennessee and a resident of Central.
Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central on Friday, October 4, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Saturday, October 5, 2013 from 9:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Bill Parsons.
There will be a Memorial Service at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 12842 Plank Road, Baker at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 12, 2013 officated by Brother Glenn Methvin.
Burial will be held at a later date at the Robinson Cemetery in Mineral Springs, Alabama.
Survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and David Harris; sons and daughters-in-law, Don and Kathy and Wade and Denise Giles; sister, Mary Phillips; grandchildren, Melissa Giles, Kelley Harris, Matt Giles, Laura Filasek, Joey Giles, David Giles, Jr., Robin Giles, Sally Franco, Ben Harris, Chase and Lee Payne; 18 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Glynda Morgan.
Preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Giles, Jr.; son, David Giles, Sr.; grandson, Mark Giles; parents, Sam and Maggie Trail; sister, Trudy Francois; brothers, Harvey, J.C. and Jimmy Trail.
She was a member of the Baker Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses. The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to the many friends that provided prayers and support with special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Joseph's Hospice, Carpenter House.
