Wildcats to Play at Scotlandville

    This Friday, Central will go to Scotlandville to face the Hornets.  If you won’t be in the stands cheering for the Wildcats, you can still take part from home by tuning in to FM 100.7 the Tiger.  Scotlandville is a 3-0 team that opened their season with a tight 1-point win over McKinley, but the margins have been improving for the Hornets, who come into this week’s game fresh from a 38-19 victory over Zachary last week.
    About the upcoming matchup, Coach Sid says, “Scotlandville is a handful.  Big, agile, and lightning fast.”  The Wildcats, who had a district bye week scheduled as most teams begin district play, will face their last non-district opponent before traveling to Denham next week.
