Las Palmas Wins “Featured Landscape of the Month”

    If you haven't noticed the inviting, outdoor dining area at our local Las Palmas Mexican restaurant you are missing a real treat.  Located at 14790 Wax Road, #102, the patio is encompassed by wrought iron railing around the dining tables with colorful umbrellas and flowering hanging baskets overhead.  But it's the large, dark chocolate pottery filled with multi-colored vinca, surrounding a warm, green juniper, that steals the show.  The parking lot medians contain nice assortments of maple trees, Japanese blood grass and azaleas.  
    The Central Bloomers Garden Club is proud to have chosen Las Palmas for this month's "featured landscape" award and has been presented with the Jackie Brewer Memorial.  We appreciate the restaurant for helping the City of Central to "grow beautifully."
