In Memoriam: John Michael Dickson

    John Michael Dickson passed away at 2:51 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Ochsner Medical Center in Baton Rouge at the age of 68. He was a retired Piping Designer and was also a retired Tupperware distributor.
    Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Central on Thursday, August 22, 2013 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and again on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 8:00 AM until religious services at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel conducted by Dr. Kevin Hand. Burial will be in Zoar Baptist Church Cemetery.
    Survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda Sue King Dickson; daughter, Amy Cambre and husband, Brent; sons, Brandon Dickson and friend, LaJuan Tracy and Jason Dickson and wife, Nicole; sisters, Millie and husband, Oscar, Lynda and husband, Don and Barbara and husband, Nira; brother, Lawrence and wife, Joan; grandchildren, Kelcee Cambre and Randy Dickson and wife Serena; great-grandchild, Connor Randall Dickson and many nieces and nephews.
    Preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Brandon and Eliza Rayborn Dickson; great-grandchild, Destiny Rachelle Cambre.
    Pallbearers will be David Smith, Mark Todd, Ray O'Neal, Brent Cambre, Keith Mullins and Scott Johnson.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Staudt and Mike Howell's Sunday School Class.  He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.
