Lane Raising Funds to Bring Cancer Treatment Closer to Home

By  |

An article in last week’s Central Speaks went into detail about Lane Regional Medical Center’s current Capital Campaign to fund the construction of a state-of-the-art Radiation Oncology Center in partnership with Baton Rouge General.  The center is expected to open in early 2014 on Lane RMC’s campus.  Lane’s Capital Campaign contribution will fund the purchase of a new Linear Accelerator to provide a new tool for radiation treatment.  Employees and Auxiliary members, as well as community supporters, are donating to help make this center a reality.  To learn more or to contribute to the campaign, call 658-6699 or visit LaneRMCFoundation.org.

Loretta Watts and Joan Lansing are both supporters of the LaneRMC Foundation’s ongoing capital campaign to raise $500,000 – $ 1 million for a new Radiation Oncology Center in Zachary to bring life-saving cancer treatment services closer to home.
