Lynley Louise Blanchard to Wed Joshua Thomas Rhodes

    Lynley Louise Blanchard and Joshua Thomas Rhodes, both of Central, will marry in a 6 p.m. ceremony on July 20, 2013 at First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge. 

    The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Blanchard of Central. She is the granddaughter of Alvin and Wanda Whittington of Central, Glenda DeLong of Central and the late Richard DeLong, and Vernon Blanchard of Pride and the late Ella Blanchard.
    Lynley is a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, and is a senior at Louisiana State University. She will graduate in December with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education.
    Her fiancé is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Kent Rhodes of Central. He is the grandson of Ronald and Ann Rawls of Zachary and the late Donald Thomas Rhodes.
    Joshua is a graduate of Catholic High School and Louisiana State University. He is a Mechanical Engineer at Honeywell in Geismar, Louisiana.
