Tunney and Nellie Sullivan Celebrate 65th Anniversary

    Tunney and Nellie Sullivan of Central celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary June 29, 2013!  She is the former Nellie Mae McLin of Livingston, LA.  The honoree’s children, Betty & Jim Gordon, Linda & Steven Kiffe, and Michael & Kathy Sullivan hosted a private dinner for their parents at Sammy’s Grill in Central on June 28.  Also in attendance were their grandchildren Jeffrey Covington,  Jenny & Trent Erwin, Josh & Renee’ Hooker, Lindsey & Brian Treuil, Brian & Linnea Sullivan,  Stacy Sullivan & Audra Jones, along with their great-grandchildren Claire Hooker, Nic Cook, Kailey Hooker, Preston and Reagan Erwin.
    The Sullivan’s were married by P. W. Sibley, pastor of Livingston Methodist Church, at the home of John R. and Eunice Sibley McLin (Mrs. Sullivan’s parents) on June 29, 1948, in Livingston, Louisiana.
