Journey Church Has Landscaping of the Month

Color, color everywhere is what captures your eye when you gaze upon the grounds of Journey Church, located at 17407 GreenwellSprings Road. Bright colors in the form of impatiens, begonias, marigolds, petunias and blooming agapanthus. Also softer colors from the blooming "anchor" trees such as the magnolias, crepe myrtles, vitex and bottlebrush. Pencil holly and oak trees fill in nicely with their lovely greenery.  Soon fountains will be added to further enhance the gardens and lake.  The Central Bloomers garden club, in appreciation to Pastor Jay and Stacey Coleman of Journey Church are recipients of this months' "featured landscape" award.  The Jackie Brewer memorial is presented to those organizations in our community that are helping the City of Central to "grow beautifully" and these gardens are truly a winner.
